This class guides each practitioner in a 20-minute body scan whereby the attention is directed toward each part of the body to become more attuned to the self as a whole and receive the body's natural wisdom with greater ease. This class is focused on the compassionate principles of loving-kindness meditation, or metta. In this practice, the qualities of kindness and compassion are cultivated and directed toward a range of people in one's life through a sequence of well-wishes.
