Job Description:

As the Social Media Intern at Standard Dose, you'll play an active role in the day-to-day ideation for and management of our social media platforms. This is a hands-on opportunity in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment where questions are welcomed, ideas are encouraged, and learning is a daily occurrence. The ideal Social Media Intern is willing to learn and adaptive.

*This internship will take place virtually 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to daily social media efforts across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn)
  • Write clear and compelling product descriptions for the Standard Dose ecommerce site, paying close attention to brand voice
  • Brainstorm and create original content for Instagram stories and IGTV
  • Help oversee community management and engagement 
  • Put together monthly social reports and pull data on follower growth, impressions, and performance 
  • Manage promotion for virtual events 
  • Assist with website updates as needed
  • Participate in meetings and distribute meeting minutes as needed

  • Impeccable organizational skills and acute attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn, collaborate, and pitch in where needed
  • Deep interest in health and plant-based wellness
  • Innate sense of aesthetic and ability to present across mediums
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to business changes
  • Ability to navigate digital platforms and tools with ease
