About the Brand

Costa Brazil

Francisco Costa spent a career designing for brands like Calvin Klein and Oscar de la Renta, before stepping down and returning to his home country of Brazil. A lot of time was spent reconnecting with his roots, and Costa found himself frequently returning to the Amazon rainforest, refreshed by the experience of being in nature.

Working with a group of scientists and local agriculturists, he launched Costa Brazil -- a sustainable beauty line made with healing elements responsibly sourced from deep within the Amazon. With ingredients like Kaya and Cacay, the line works to nourish the body, mind, and spirit in the same way that nature awakens the senses. Every step in the process is completed with respect for the environment, and the brand is FSC certified, cruelty free, and vegan. Costa Brazil also partners with Conservation International, an organization that helps ensure the continued protection of nature for local communities.
