The Perfect Mocktail for October

From honeyed figs to succulent peaches, October means a host of delicious fruits are now in season and this recipe makes use of one of our favorites: plums!


  • 2 fl oz Aplós Arise Alcohol-Free Spirit
  • 2 fl oz oz plum scrub (using 1 cup muddled plums and 1 cup sugar)
  • 1 fl oz lemon juice
  • Splash of ginger ale
  • Ice
  • Rosebuds to garnish (if desired)



  • Make the plum scrub by combining muddled plums and sugar. Let this mixture refrigerate for 24-48 hours, stirring occasionally, then strain the mix. Retain liquid and discard or compost the remainder.
  • Add the liquid from the plum scrub, Aplós, lemon juice, ginger ale, and ice to a cocktail shaker. Shake and strain into a flute. 
  • Garnish with rosebuds for an extra treat.
